The Technical (Boring) Bits
The nancies.org.uk code is written in PHP and HTML with a MySQL backend using Zend Studio and CoffeeCup HTML Editor, with some assistance from Windows Notepad, in Windows XP and Fedora Core 4.
nancies.org.uk uses SMF for its community message boards.
All code is tested before going online using Apache 1.3.27 with PHP and MySQL on my home computer. Hosting is provided by A Small Orange and the domain is provided and maintained by Easily.
nancies.org.uk is designed with standards compliance in mind and should appear correctly in any standards compliant browser.
The font used on the site is Verdana, and the font Attic (used for the Under the Table and Dreaming artwork and subsequent single/promo releases) is used for the main and community logos. |
